St Andrews Asylum, Norwich

Went for an explore around the asylum! Was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t that scary. Managed to spend 3 hours inside though. As usual most of the photos look better as thumbnails! stupid iphone camera 🙁

Hales Hospital

Heckingham Institute/Hales Hospital – Norfolk. Hales Hospital was built by John Harris of Ipswich in 1764 as a workhouse, the Heckingham House of Industry, for up to 400 inmates at Hales. The large H-shaped building contained 83 “apartments” and included an infirmary and a house of correction.

Ditchingham Maltings

The Ditchingham malting’s is situated in the picturesque valley of the river Waveney on the Norfolk Suffolk border. The site itself is split by the river and is located next to an ancient Roman ford. Originally the South Side was a Silk Mill and is a listed building dating from the 1800s,the site has been derelict since a major fire in 1999.
